Bo'ness is situated overlooking the River Forth and Fife hills, and lies just off Scotland's central motorway M9. Falkirk, Stirling, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth all lie within a short drive.

The area is well served with local bus services and Linlithgow station, just 3 miles from Bo'ness, offers regular trains commuting to Edinburgh and Glasgow.

From the East, exit M9 at junction 3 or from the west, exit M9 at junction 5, follow the A904 into Bo'ness onto the Dean Road until you reach the traffic lights at the cross-roads. Turn down towards the river on to Linlithgow Road. The hotel is situated on the left, overlooking the park.

There are many local attractions nearby. Visit the Victorian style Bo'ness Steam Railway and enjoy the 3 ? mile journey to Birkhill Clay Mine. There are many activities to be enjoyed in the local area such as golf, horse riding and sailing at Port Edgar Marina. Visit the many indoor shopping complexes at Stirling and Edinburgh's 'Gyle'.

Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, Linlithgow Palace, Blackness Castle, the Falkirk Wheel, Hopetoun House and the Royal Yacht Brittania are all within easy driving distance and make a great day out.
